Today I delivered

Our thoughts are going towards our beloved back home

War in time of peace

I was sitting on my seat
Looking at my feet
Thinking back at my life
What went wrong
I lived a life full of fear
And guess what
It started all over again
War is back
Back in the old days
I was a kid
Today I’m a man
War doesn’t know the meaning of peace
It destroyed every thing that moved back then
And today it came back again
To do the same thing all over again
When will it end
Or this is the story of my life
Back then I learned how to survive
Today I have to teach people how to survive
Back then I thought it’s over
Today I don’t know what to expect again
Am I going to die and the war is still going on
When will it end
War back then killed my feelings
Today what will it kill
Nothing I have for it to give
Back then I lived the life of torture
Today I’m living the life of despair
What will I say to my kids
I sat down on my seat and I’m all in shame
Should I say this is what we did in our own hands
Or should I lie
And blame it on the thing
War doesn’t know what feelings are
War destroys every little thing
Should I kill or should I die
This is what we are
Feelings run through my veins
Tears running down my cheeks
What will I do
A question that I have
And the answer
Is
No clue
Should I live
Should I die
Should I scream
Or should I fly
Far away from my thoughts
To a land of peace
Land of dignity
In a time of war
Is that how to be a man
War is killing what left inside of me
Should I fight or should I die
That’s what we are in the time of no return
My head went blank
My heart went down
My feelings are gone
Should I live or should I die
This is the question
That’s killing my heart
Tomorrow is a brand new day
What will it be
Sunshine again
Or bloodshed with no return
I’m leaving the answer
For the days
To tell it all over again
War or peace
Tonight’s dream
What will it be tomorrow
Peace and dignity
Or
War with no return

Is it fear of tomorrow
Or is it death that is coming all over again
Do we deserve a good life
It seems we don’t deserve
Why
Are we that bad
Tears are falling
When will it end
Hearts are broken
Kid’s smiles turned to fear
